this is a thirty year obsession of three of the five cubes that interlock inside of a dodecahedron. i carved my first one when i was eighteen years old. i have always made the three interlocking cubes from a single cube, in that manner it is not possible to stack them. this piece was carved from a decagonal prism. it is small but has many steps and is very technical to make. it is not super stable but can sit vertical or horizontal. carved from a single piece of monkey pod wood.
