this is another part of a series i have been working on combining geometry with the spacey busts. the base is made out of an icosahedron, turning it into a hard soft variation. the hollows give the form tension and help to hold the form. the piece has a good balance of structure and playfulness. it is grounding, centering and transporting. carved from a single piece of monkey pod wood.
