this is another part of a series i have been working on combining geometry with the spacey busts. the base is made out of an icosahedron, one of my favorite asymmetrical abstractions that i have been playing with for a few years. it has a good balance of structure and playfulness. it is grounding, centering and transporting. carved from a single piece of monkey pod wood.
