there are a two ways i know of to stacking cuboctahedra. the easy way and the way i mostly do is from a square prism. this is made from a hexagonal prism. in this way it looks like a totally different shape. a cuboctahedron was one of buckminster fullers favorite shapes. he called it a vector equilibrium. this is a playful version mixing the the structure of the geometry with a playful flow. carved from a single piece of monkey pod wood.
