this is a bigger version of the some smaller piece i did last year. this styles are more anthropomorphic than the normal buddy collection. this style the beginning of a new path for me and i am working on more that are inspired by them. they are big and delicate and have a strong presence. they are grounding centering and transporting. carved from and single piece of monkeypod wood. one of the legs has curved after carving, so it has a little character. i personally like it.
