this was made by first carving an icosahedron then carving out some of the sides to create this form. this is a new variation on a concept i have been working on for years. it is fun for me to still find new ideas within the platonic solids. there is still something so special about them that keeps me captivated. this is carved from a single piece of monkeypod wood.
