this piece is a lot bigger but i still consider it part of the littles collection. i really love the six legs. it feels aquatic to me. the littles are inspired by that magical realm that kids go into while playing with dolls and miniature toys. there is something special about the dreamy headspace you enter while looking at them. they are grounding, centering and transporting. carved out of a single piece of monkeypod wood. it has pigments and was part of my experimenting for my last exhibition. if you look close you can see the two tones.
