this is part of my portal series. if you look at the hole you can see a little film. to me it represents the veil between the mundane and the abstract. they are meant to ground and center you and transport you into the unknown from that centered space. i love the proportions of this piece with the long legs. carved from a single piece of monkey pod wood.
